What We Believe

A young child’s mind is rich, fertile ground eagerly waiting to be cultivated. The teachers and staff at Redeemer Day School (RDS) utilize every teachable moment whether it’s during calendar time, singing, Scripture memory, dramatic play, chapel, or even snack time to plant seeds and cultivate a love of learning.Red Apple Tree

As with any new plant, care and nurture promotes healthy growth. RDS provides a safe, nurturing environment where social, emotional, and academic growth can occur. Children will bloom under the love and nurture of God’s truth and knowledge. A healthy plant will bear fruit, which is our ultimate goal as we anticipate the fruit of our labor, the works of service theses little ones are preparing for the future that lies ahead of them.

Redeemer Day School is a ministry of Redeemer Presbyterian Church. RDS began in 2006 as  a response to the biblical mandate to nurture and train covenant children. After prayer and research, a school board comprised of: educators (including private, public, and home school teachers) and business professionals was formed.

Careful consideration was given to each aspect of RDS in hopes of reaching the goal of providing a Christ-centered preschool where children have a meaningful learning experience.

We’re very proud of our teachers at Redeemer Day School.

Every one of them loves the Lord Jesus Christ and the precious little children He has entrusted to their care at RDS. Our teaching team and staff are united in our desire to work in cooperation with parents in accordance with Scripture; to love our neighbors as ourselves—for the glory and pleasure of God (Lk 10:27).

We appreciate the unique way God has made each child and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help them flourish in their God-given gifts, talents and abilities.

Redeemer Day School Distinctives:

We have an excellent teacher to student ratio so that we can maximize the time spent on: increasing foundational literacy skills; strengthening fine and gross motor skills; aiding your child’s development through fun and engaging play-based experiences; repetitive exposure to numbers 1 – 20, colors, the alphabet and basic shapes.

We enjoy helping children understand God’s word and biblical truths in a way that’s most relevant to their stage in life. To accomplish this, we employ lively and diverse music instruction and age-appropriate chapel time.

We care about the safety of our students and want to provide additional comfort for parents, so our entire teaching team is CPR and First Aid Certified.
